Our traditional holidays are typically structured so that you walk one day, stay put the next, etc. for the duration of your trip. With our short breaks, the formula has been changed so that you move on every day. In this way, you will see the maximum the region has to offer within the shortest space of time. To make sure you still have time to visit places of interest, go wine tasting, laze by the pool and so on, we have kept the walking distances short. As with our longer tours, we provide detailed maps and route notes, and our staff move your bags from hotel to hotel for you. Even on the shortest break, we provide 24-hour emergency back up and service: local pickups, maps and notes and the transfer of luggage from one hotel to the next. And even on a short break, superb menus and fine local wines are an integral part of every tour!
We offer total flexibility over travel too: on center-based holidays we can usually shorten or extend the number of nights or even the departure day of the week. And we help in planning and organizing your entire itinerary: adding extra stopover nights in hotels, rail or flights from your local departure airport. Just inquire for a tailor-made quote.
Breakaways’ specially adapted four-night short break tours have been created for people either looking for an active interlude on a longer overseas trip, or simply wanting to see if they like this sort of trip before committing to a full tour.
