Hotel breakfasts are normally buffet-style and are included. There is a variety of good, quality food on offer in local restaurants and cafes usually for relatively low prices. Vegetarians are catered for throughout the trip, but please ensure that you advise us before you travel so that we can make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
This trip is graded leisurely.
It is not activity based however there are several city tours on foot, as well as activities to take part in during our Estancia stay in Uruguay. We travel by private minibus and take two internal flights to allow you to experience as much as possible of these beautiful and diverse countries in a short space of time. We will also travel by ferry from Colonia to Buenos Aires. The tour has all the ingredients to be a true adventure and trip of a lifetime. It encompasses a contrasting array of sights and activities, from the vibrant barrios of Buenos Aires, to horse-riding at ranch in Uruguay, to one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders, the Iguazu Falls.
There are 2 internal flights included in the itinerary, normally using the services of Aerolineas Argentinas or LAN. Please be aware that the timings of the internal flights can be quite erratic and there can often be last minute schedule changes. Depending on the availability of these flights, there may be a supplement to pay.
