Hills of Valdobbiadene

Raise a glass of bubbly to our newest guided walking tour, Walking in the Prosecco Hills!  Just an hour’s drive north of Venice, in the foothills of the Dolomites, is one of the world’s best, yet largely undiscovered, wine regions. Here ancient terraced vineyards clinging to every possible slope are dedicated exclusively to grapes for Italy’s most prized sparkling wine: Prosecco.

We’ll spend a week walking through picturesque rolling hills and sampling the area’s delicious cuisine and authentic bubbles.  We also visit charming medieval villages such as Cison, Follina and Asolo as well as the beautiful capital province of Treviso. There’s time for a visit to one of the best local producers of Prosecco for a wine-tasting and to learn about the wine making process.  And, on your free day, you’ll have to option to visit the stunning city of Venice.

Based in the elegant Hotel Villa Soligo, a 4*** historic neoclassical style residence with spa, wellness center and outdoor swimming pool there will be opportunities to try some of the best local restaurants in the area which offer authentic cuisine and delicious homemade dishes such as spiedo (spit roasted meat), wild mushroom risotto, gnocchi, mouth-watering handmade cured meats and cheeses, all washed down with prime quality Processo!
