Booking your tour with Breakaway Adventures is easy. You can browse our trips and check availability on-line, book a tour or request a brochure.
Our travel consultants are happy to help with any questions you might have and help with other arrangements both pre- and post- trip including airfare, rail, rental cars and arrange extra stopover nights.
Checking tour availability
If you'd like to check availability for a particular tour simply contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our travel consultants will get back to you within two working days to let you know if the holiday is available or to let you know of possible alternatives.
If you'd prefer an immediate answer, you can call our sales team on 1-800-567-6286 and discuss your requirements with them. If you've got your credit card on hand we can often confirm your booking while you're on the phone.
Confirming your booking
Your provisional booking will be held for 2-5 business days so you've time to arrange travel, review travel insurance options, check with other members of your party etc. To confirm your booking we simply need your deposit payment. You can call us on 1-800-567-6286 with your credit card details. Never send your credit card details via email.
If you are ready to book your tour, your reservation and deposit can be made on-line. Search below for your desired tour by Destination, Activity and Date. Once on the individual tour, select ``Book Now`` to choose your preferred start date. Complete the ``Book A Tour`` page being sure to indicate the total number of people traveling. You'll be directed to accept the terms and conditions of booking and submit a deposit via our on-line payment system. You will receive an email within in a few minutes to confirm that we have received your booking and requesting more details for your party, such as room type desired (Double, Twin or Single room) and any special dietary requirements.
Our sales team will get back to you within two to three working days to let you know if the tour is available and confirm your reservation or let you know of possible alternatives. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have received word that rooms are being held.
Within 7 days of confirming your reservation, we'll send you a pre-departure packet in the mail containing your confirmation invoice, a recommended packing list, information on how to obtain travel insurance and a detailed trip dossier. Please check this carefully for spelling of names and dates/times of travel - any errors should be reported to the office as soon as possible so that we can more easily rectify any issues.
At 75 days before your departure, you'll need to provide a final payment (either by check, over the phone by credit card, or via our on-line payment system using your credit card).
Approximately 1 month prior to your departure, you'll receive your final trip packet including your document wallet, maps, route notes, regional overview and hotel itinerary.
