You can walk on the hill in Burgundy where the second crusade was launched, or be seduced by Italy’s Amalfi Coast. All this as well as experiencing some of Europe’s finest hiking on self-guided or escorted tours.
In many areas we think our independent or self-guided tours are the best
way to get a real experience of the country. Unless you have a lot of time
to do your own planning, and patience, you’ll appreciate our meticulous
research and trip design with carefully chosen routes picked for trailside
interest. And at the end of each walk, charming country inns provide the
authentic flavor of each region. You travel inn to inn while we move your
bags, moving every day or every other day. For those who never want to
unpack a suitcase, there are center-based tours as well. And if you prefer
the camaraderie of a group, we offer selected escorted tours for small
groups (max 15 people).
