Great Cycling Experiences

We think our independent cycling holidays, going at your own pace, are the
best way to get a real experience of the country. Exploring by bike, you
enjoy a relationship with the local people in a way that motorists never
can.

Cycling gives the most scope for independent exploring, as you can adjust
the route using our maps and detailed route notes. Our suggested routes
take you along quiet country lanes, and go by the places we think are the
most interesting. There are options for avoiding hills, and suggestions
for detours and off-road explorations. All tours are graded starting with
just enough exercise to work up an appetite for the next great meal, with
more challenging route choices if you’re more energetic. None are extreme
and each is designed to give you ample time to sightsee and get a genuine
experience of the culture, beauty and history of the places we go.

All of our cycling holidays are self-guided, independent tours with
generally 2-8 people on each departure date. You can be as sociable, or
otherwise, as you choose. And of course, your luggage is moved between
hotels leaving you to carry just the day’s essentials in your panniers.
All that remains for you to do is simply choose a trip that suits your
ability and you are off!
