Solo Tours

On average we get 2-3 telephone calls and email inquiries every week from people who are thinking about going on a walking tour alone, but are nervous about making that final commitment.

For some, it will be their first vacation since being single, divorced or widowed.  For others, their partner simply isn't interested in an activity-style holiday but they're still eager to give it a go.  The reason doesn't really matter, as our response is always the same:  if you have even the slightest urge to try it, then follow your heart and you'll discover that independent traveling can be a very rewarding experience.

As an incentive, we are offer a special departure date on most of our independent  walking tours with no single supplement needed to book a single room.  The savings can really make a difference.
